Self-fruitful tree is adorned with red-brown blush on yellow pears late summer. While self-fruitful, production will be increased when pollinated by another variety. Crisp fruits with a distinct pineapple flavor are great fresh or preserved.

Can be maintained at 8′-10′ with summer pruning.
